Who we are
Prego is a table-ordering service for restaurants, bars, clubs, lounges and hotels (“venues”) across Southern Africa, including Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, South Africa, Malawi, Namibia and Mozambique. Venues use it so their guests can order from their table. By using Prego you agree to these terms.
What belongs to us
The Prego name and logo, its software, its screens, its look and design, its wording and the way it works belong to Prego and are protected by copyright and other laws. Using Prego gives you the right to use it, not to own it.
What you may not do
- Copy, imitate, rebuild or resell Prego, its screens, its design or any part of it.
- Try to read, take apart or reverse-engineer its code, or get around its security.
- Collect its pages or data with bots or scripts, or show Prego inside another website or app.
- Use the Prego name or logo for anything other than the venue’s own use of the service.
- Share staff logins, PINs or passcodes with anyone outside the venue’s team.
- Place fake or prank orders, or use the service to break the law.
Venues
A venue’s menu, prices, photos, logo and name stay the venue’s own; the venue lets us show them to its guests through Prego. The venue is responsible for its prices, its food and drink, serving alcohol only to guests of legal age, and taking payment at the table. Prego does not take payments. The venue’s agreement with Prego sets out its plan and fees; if a subscription is unpaid, ordering and staff screens pause until it is paid.
Guests
Guests don’t need an account. We keep only the first name a guest types and what they order, so the venue can serve them and show its reports. We don’t sell anyone’s information.
If these terms are broken
We may suspend or close access for anyone who breaks these terms, and Prego may take legal action to protect Prego.
Our responsibility
We work hard to keep Prego fast and available, but we can’t promise it will never be interrupted. As far as the law allows, Prego is not responsible for lost sales or other indirect losses caused by an interruption.
Changes and law
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Zambia.
